Should we use ME when arriving at midnight?

Would we have to wait for a bus to fill up? At that time, I will just want to get my head on a pillow ASAP.

If our luggage does not travel on the same bus, would they knock on our door at 2 A.M.? How does that work?

I also arrived at midnight ok 12:05 am on my Oct trip. That being said I arrived at ASsp at 1:30 and my room at 2am. I took my luggage on the bus with me.

When I go on my May flight I will also arrive at same time I am looking into private transportation. A 2 am bedtime for my DS7 and myself will not work out as we get up at 6 am on the day we leave. Also we lost most of the next day because we were just to tired to get up at 9 am.

You may be ok with the 2 am bedtime. If it were just me I'd save the $$ and do ME but with my DS I will be going private carriage.

I don't really see the difference of Me and private at that time if you do private your looking at 1:30 am anyhow on a 12:00 arrival.

Anyhow getting back to the OP do ME but don't use your Tags get your own luggage and take it to ME check-in the buses that late will be ready to take you right to your resort .

I had a late night arrival in December with my daughter. We were originally scheduled to arrive at 11:00 pm, but with a weather-related delay - we didn't get there until 11:50 pm!

We had used the yellow tags on our luggage, so we just walked off the plane with our jammies in a carryon, hopped right on the waiting monorail to the terminal, and were at the Magical Express Desk by 12 am on the dot!

I checked in, and gave my luggage claim numbers to the clerk at the desk, and he directed me to the queue area, where we were the only ones in line, I was met immediately by another CM, who double checked that I was going to Pop Century - she then radioed a bus driver, and said - "I have a party of two going to Pop Century, can you drop them there on your way?" We were then escorted onto a bus with about 10 people in it (not sure where they were going). My daughter was REALLY happy to see they were playing Lion King II on the DVD player. Less than 5 minutes later, we were rolling down the road!

Pop Century was the next stop - and we were there before 1 am! Obviously - there was no line at check in , since we were the only ones getting off the bus. Just an FYI - the computers go down for maintenance at 12 am, so you'll have to come back in the morning to add your credit card for charging, etc.

We were asleep by 1:30 am, and I didn't notice the message light blinking till I came out of the shower at 8 am. The message time said 6:15 am, so they must have just lit the light without ringing it through (I am a light sleeper, and would NEVER sleep through a ringing phone.) The message said that they had my luggage, and would send it over as soon as I called. I called at that point, and my luggage (at Pop Century - without a big valet staff!) arrived at my door in less than 10 minutes.

I cannot fault any part of Disney's ME service that night - I too was worried with that late night arrival - but it worked beautifully for us - and it was free!

For my last two trips, though ME was available, I used a private service (Sunray). For my October trip, flight landed around 10:30am. I was checked in and in my room and unpacking an hour later. For my trip last weekend, I got off the plane around 9:20pm, was to my resort and checked in, dropped my luggage off at luggage services and on my way to PI an hour later.

Cheers,

Our flight lands at 10:30 am. I had planned to use ME and have our luggage brought in the am, we used it last trip and I loved it. It turns out to be cheaper to rent a car at the airport through Alamo than it is to pick up the car during our vacation (we want to eat at other resorts), so I think that is what we are going to do.
