This is our first time ever being at Disney!
We would love to eat in the Castle but from what I heard it
is so very hard to get PS for!
We are staying there for 13 days so I have alot of days to try to get in but I was just wondering if it was really worth it.
On this trip is going to me, my DH, DS (who is 3), my mom &
her husband.
I am a huge Disney fan & have been for quite some time.

We already have PSs for Breakfastosaurus, Chef Mickey, and the Princess Storybook.
I am thinking IF we do get into CRT to cancel the Princess Storybook one.
I think 4 character breakfasts will be a little too much. What is your opinion on that?
But then I heard good reviews on the Princess Storybook, now I don't know what to do....decisions!

And is the CRT REALLY worth on the trouble??????

Just a side note, we honestly don't know when or if we will be able to go back. We had to work very hard to save money for this trip...even took a special "Disney checking account" out!
We are hoping we can go back sometime around December of this year (during Value season) since we are buying APs, but only time will tell if we will be able to afford that!
So we want to try to see & do as much as possible during this trip, that is why I am wondering if the CRT is a must do, IF we can get in!

Thanks!

Personally, I'm not sure if it would really be worth it for you. We did it in July & it was nice but DD (15) really wanted to eat in the castle with the princesses (DNephew-13 was not impressed ;) ). I'd give it a try if you want & see if you can get one but if not, don't worry about it. I'm sure your DS will have more fun & be thrilled with the other characters. He'll have more fun (I think) at Breakfastosaurus. Good Luck.

PS...I got my PS for CRT first call, first day.

Hi jacksonsmom! I say go for it! I was able to get through on my first call day, so you never know until you try. We have not been there before, but like you, don't know when we'll be getting back to Disney and are really splurging this time. I have a son (8) and daughter (4) and they are both excited about it. My son's not crazy about dining with princesses, but does want to see the inside of the castle. Your son might be more excited about that too than the princess breakfast in Norway.

Also, why not do it for you??? Personally, I am probably just as excited about it as my kids are. Looking forward to taking tons of pictures. Good luck!

You simply must try- we got the breakfast on our first morning (August)- although people say it's better to do a buffet early - we got the last seating on an EE day and were able to get around Fantasyland twice, have a go on Big Thunder Mt, Splash Mt and get a fastpass for Jungle Cruise before dining. Timed it really well to use the Fastpass right after the meal and then MK was too busy so we headed over to MGM.

There was plenty of character interaction and it was nice and quiet towards the end - had the princesses almost to ourselves. Food was nice - not the best in the world but good and our server was attentive - a brilliant start to our holiday and one we are looking to repeat later in the year.

Looking to do a few more character meals while we are there - plans changing constantly on these - keeping my eyes on latest reviews on these boards - especially on CP - seen one or two bad reviews since it re-opened.

If you have never been to CRT, then try for it. It was great when we went for breakfast but we probably won't go again. But I still say try it. Good Luck!

In my honest opinion...........definitely try!!! I went in December 2001 with my two sons ages 9 and 12 at that time. They loved it!

In fact, they liked it so much that we are going to try for it again in December of 2003 (my 4 year old niece is going as well so this is a must).

Good Luck trying and if you do get it I think you will really enjoy it.

WE are going in March (first trip) and I got in the CRT the first time I called. The key is call at 6:55 and listen to the recording. That way you will know what number to push when a real person answers the phone. CAll back a minute or two later, push the correct number and as soon as a person answers start talkng and say you want the first available time for ___ # of people. It worked for me. Good Luck!!!!! :p

Thank you everyone!

We are going to try! It is 6am my time that the lines open.
We are going to try to get in for June 15th, which is our first full day at Disney & then keep trying for the next 13 days.....I would think ONE of those days we should be able to get in.

June 15th would be ideal though.

Now it is just waiting until April 16th before I can even try

Thank you again!
I am just so excited to finally being able to meet "The Mouse"!!!!

This is going to be so much fun :teeth:
