Our winter travel dates have an attractive price for the 2 bedroom unit at this resort. We were going to stay at Staybridge Suites, also owned by Holiday Inn. Anyway, should we switch to Orange Lake?

And, does anyone know what the $7.95 per day resort fee covers? I read there is a tube fee for the lazy river...

Staybridge (assuming the one in Lake Buena Vista) has a much better location than OL. The suites are large & well equipped. If the price is lower at Staybridge then no question - if it's higher then I'd still prefer the Staybridge location (and the great daily free breakfast) unless it's a very large amount.

OL does tend to nickle & dime you with unwanted / unwarranted charges.

Surprisingly, the difference is about $40 per day. But, I read about the tube rentals and mini golf fees, etc. That is why I was wondering what the $7.95 "resort fee" at OL covers. I suppose I could phone them tomorrow and ask...
