Should we switch hotels

If we did switch to enjoy evening hours our plan is to plan our park days to Coincide with the parks evening hours. I know it would be a long day but our kids are night owls and use to long vacation days. Thankfully they travel well. We currently still have our Signia reservation. I was hesitant to cancel based on other reviewers saying that it can be hard to come by. I still can’t decide if the switch is worth the evening hours. I kinda like the Signia vibe and the updated hotel as apposed ti the swan and dolphin. I am probably driving my Husbands crazy bc I keep wavering in what to do. We have points for both hotels (Signia, dolphins/swan) so the cost is less of a factor. It’s about crowds and if we would be able to get more done by having those extra evening hours.
As a guest at Signia we already get the morning 30 minutes.

For me they could always cancel evening hours. What would drive my decision would be location vs. where I would want to spend a lot of time..SWAN and closeness of Epcot would be a winner for me

I was able to get the reserve for the price as the dolphin. It was great location.. kids loved the friendship boat that goes to epcot and HS

Thanks. It isn't mentioned on the hotel website, but on our November trip, we had construction right off our balconies at Yacht Club, Poly, and AKL and it wasn't mentioned at any of those either. I'll just cross my fingers and hope for the best.

That’s what we’re doing. We’re staying on points and free is really hard to beat!

We are currently booked at the Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek. We are traveling with 3 kids. It will be our first time staying off property . However, after reading up on the extra magic park hours in the evenings I am debating switching to the Dolphin resort in order to get the extra hours. Pros would be extra hours, closer to 2 parks, cons would be smaller rooms/bed, no extra park time and missing the pool life at signia. We have never stayed at Dolphin either. Any feedback good or bad on each resort. Is it really worth the switch for those extra evening park hours?
Misc info
We booked non hopper park tickets. And plan for 4 parks days only and 1 pool day.
Edit
We are going may 28th-June 4th.

I think at least one day at Dolphin for the EPCOT extra evening hours is a must since Ratatoiulle is now included. In fact if evening hours are lets say Mon and Tues (then if you stayed Mon check in you would get evening hours for Mon and Tues). If Mon and Wed. Then if you stayed Mon-Tues you would get evening hours from Mon-Wed night.

Pro of Dolphin besides that is it's close to Boardwalk area and Epcot/Hollywood.

Cons: Rooms are really tiny. So I would use it on the day where you will be at the park the entire day and will only be using the rooms to sleep.

FYI- cancelled Signia. Pop had availability and while it isn't a top choice, avoiding moving luggage won out. Still no Swolphin rooms for my dates

Oh wow!!! I am still flip flopping but I guess you can’t update me in march now hahah!! Have fun

I will have to check that out Thank you. We are going may 28th through June 6. Wonder if it will be done.

Here now. It’s a large project (convention/ballroom area) being built over the waterway that runs behind the two hotels. Scheduled completion late 2023.

Loud? Does it interfere with the pool area?

We just walked over and used the Signia pool. My DH didn’t notice any noise while we were there. I heard a little beeping but wasn’t bad. Worst was during the walk as we passed where they are working today.

I would switch to the Dolphin as that is a much better location. You can walk to two parks. You are able to walk on the boardwalk. Mini golf is in walking distance. The skyliner is in walking distance. At the Hilton by Signa everything is by bus or car. I have stayed at the Hilton by Signa many times when it first opened and was just a Hilton. I did so because I was a Hilton honors member and had points. Over the years they added resort fees and have high parking fees and their room rates are high. It doesn't make sense to me to stay there anymore. Did you check the new Swan Reserve? That one looks amazing. It's on by bucket list.
