Hi all,
We are headed to DL saturday 3/31-tues 4/3. We will have tix to Mickey's toontown morning madness, but I'm not sure if we should use them.

I know we are going during a very busy time-springbreak- and I'm not sure if we should sacrifice going on a few rides right at DL opening to head into toontown.
My boys are 6 and 2, the older one is not too interested in toontown, would prob be ok either way. My 2 year old loves Mickey and pals, so I know he'd love it....just not sure if we should try to get on some rides while the lines are their shortest instead...
Opinions?
Thanks:)

I'd skip it. Its a little ceremony and the characters are out for meet and greets. But you'll also be able to see most/all of them throughout the day on Main Street.

Since you have a little one I think its well worth it. One of the highlights of our trip last year was Minnie mouse taking my then 2 year old DD by the hand and going on a tour around toontown and showing her all the buttons. We have it on video and its great. My DD doesnt say a word just goes along and pushes the buttons or pushes the lever etc she wa so awstruck.

Also you get to meet all the characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, Pluto (my favorite) and they put on a show for you. I think it was well worth going and am going to use my pass again in May. Its the best interaction with those characters that we saw the whole time.

If you go see Mickey in his house its a little rushed as they just want to get your picture and go.

When we recently attended Toon Town Morning Madness, I thought the show was entertaining. It's a nice little bonus among the other entertainment at the park. We felt a little special being able to see it, and we enjoyed getting our "official citizen of Toon Town" buttons and wore them throughout the day.

The hour was not very busy, and after the show we were able to enjoy Town Town with hardly anyone there. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin was a walk on. When we visited during the day another time it was quite mobbed throughout Toon Town, so I'd say it's a great experience if it's included with your package.

We're spending 4 days at the resort and we will use the early Toontown entry one day, and Magic Morning early entry on another. We have a 5 year-old and 3 year-old and wouldn't miss any extras that we can take advantage of!

We used it the last week of January and it was awesome. We entered, met Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Chip, and Dale, THEN watched the show. It was great to meet them all with little to no waiting. After the show we rode Gadget's Go Coaster 7 times in a row, Roger Rabbit once, and met Daisy. Then they opened it to everyone else and we left. It was a great use of time for us.
