Should we rent a stroller or bring ours for DD4. She loves to walk and we thought we would just rent one there so we didn't have to lug it through airport, is that a bad idea? Should we just bring ours? Leaving Tomorrow, Hooray!!!!

If you won't want it in the airport, rent it! We take ours (a double) and gate check it, with 2 kids and all the luggage, it's just easier on DH and I if the kiddos are contained. ;)

I prefer to bring mine. It's nice to have to get from your room to the bus stop and vice versa, especially at the end of the day. Plus, then you don't have to wait in the stroller rental line either.

i would bring my own, even if your DD likes to walk. we like to have ours at the airport just to make it easier to get through if it is crowded. with 3 DD's and all the luggage, it just makes it easier. plus, even if she likes to walk, at DW sometimes just getting around the resort is a good walk. add to it a whole day at the park, i'm sure she will get tired. i wouldn't want to have to worry about waiting in line for a rental.

if you take an umbrella stroller it folds up so quickly and small that it shouldn't be a bother to bring.

have fun!

I guess am umbrella stroller would not be a problem on the busses. Last week, when the busses were crowded, I encountered a number of people with regular folding strollers using bus transportation. It was really a hazard (as well as an inconveneince)for the other bus passengers, because the strollers were all over the aisles, taking standing space, seat space, etc.

Another option, if you can get through the airport, would be to rent one from one someone like A Baby's Best Friend for the length of your stay. We are leaving ours at home this trip (5/13 - 5/21) and doing just that. We should be able to get DD (5) and DS (2) from car to the gate without any issues and the stroller will be waiting at the front desk when we arrive. That way we don't have to transport it but have one available for both the parks and resort.

I would bring your stroller. The strollers at the parks are sometimes sticky and everyone has one. When you have your own it's just easier to find when getting off of rides. Have a good trip. :wave2:

Another "bring your own" fan! What a lifesaver in the airport and when we're heading back to the resorts after a long day at the parks!

Have a blast! :)

We brought ours for doing the airport and hotels and also rented while in the parks. But no more renting - we just got a Maclaren Techno XT for the kidlet and love it. She doesn't, but that's because of the 5 point harness. In her old stroller she could undo the belt and get out easily. I would say bring yours - it's what your little one is used to.

does it cost to rent one??? how about a double???

dd 2 never rides in her stoller anymore - we do the wagon---BUT we haven't been anywhere like this with her....my problem is dd7 who whines about being tired if we go shopping for long periods of time---so we sit her in the umbrella stoller (it's a Jeep brand -a little sturdier) & then she holds ds2...SO NOT SAFE!! BUT that's the only way---I had to buy another stroller for 1 trip---'cause we really don't use one...I JUST DON"T KNOW~~~

I hate to think of the time wasted in line at the parks for renting one too!!! AAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHH

The one I rented was $70 for a sit and stand (which also has a platform to sit on). That way DS (2) can ride and DD (not quite 6) has her choice.

$8 for a single and $15 for a double - and they give you $1 disney dollar back when you return it.
