Should we hop or not?

Hi!
Planning a trip for 8 nights in March 2025 (higher crowd levels than I would like but its the only time we can go on vacation).
-We have 5 family members myself, (DH- he prefers to balance park and relaxation/resort time), DD16, DD13 and DS4.
-Not sure where we will be eating just yet; I know we plan on some resort TS.
-I imagine that the kids and I will be at the parks early, grab a bite to eat at the parks and return to the resort to relax for a bit in the afternoon, then return for a bit in the evening.
-We do not care if we stay for fireworks; we will stay as long as everyone is having fun but we do not want to over do it.
-DS will most likely nap at some point in the afternoon (most likely on the move, he isn't one for lying down to nap).
-We are quality over quantity kind of people. It is possible that we may break up from time to time but most likely will stay together.
- Some of us enjoy thrill rides, others not so much.
Do you think we would benefit from park hoppers? I am not sure how many park days we will do, we will most likely take at least one full day off. I do not know how LL and genie+ works but I am open to purchasing them if they will make the time that we spend in the park more enjoyable.

Where are you planning on staying? I inquire because deluxe/DVC resorts have extended evenings hours. Normally Mondays at Epcot and Wednesdays at MK. So you would have to go to those parks on those days or have park hoppers.

WL or Poly... trying to work that out

I wouldn’t hop. There is so much to see and do at each park that by the time you’re finished the kids will probably be ready for some pool time or downtime rather than going to another park. We’ve bought packages with a park hopper and maybe used them once. Transportation at Disney world is so time consuming I reccomend making the most of your park days. I would suggest 2 days at Magic Kingdom and 1 day at each other park plus maybe a flex day at the end to redo one of the other parks.

If money is no object the park hoppers won’t hurt, but I would much rather spend my money on genie plus and highly recommend!
