Should we have a Disney credit card?

We have been wondering if we should get a Disney Credit card. What kind of rewards do card holders receive? And yes I saw the free dinning one. We have went to Disney in 98,99,03 and 05 an dare think of a trip in Nov. 2007.

The deals have never really pulled me in, it is the Disney rewards like we like. We normally only use our Disney Visa and have had over 1,000 total in rewards.

Now keep in mind a lot of our house addtion we put on the card (and paid it off right away of course, we always pay it all right away, never carry a blance.) Also we got a bit during the "double rewards" times they did a year ago or so. (I think they jipped us on some though.)

A lot of the perks are the same ones DVC or AP get so I can't remember what are what.

Anyway we like the 1% back. It adds up. If you have a card with a better deal you might use more then do that.

I just applied for a Disney Visa yesterday. I'm not big on credit cards and we don't ever carry a balance. We are in the planning phase of our next vacation and I wanted to have one just in case a good deal comes out for card holders. I plan to use it only about once a month just to keep it active. I'd hate to see a good deal pass me by if I didn't have one. If nothing else the card is cute with all the characters on it.

We've earned over $500 in rewards for our upcoming trip, and we've saved 15% on several "Behind the Scenes Tours." If I'm going to use a credit card anyways, I might as well earn $$$ for our Disney vacations.

i just signed up thursday as well for the disney visa. which design did u choose? lol i picked the 50th celebration card
