I have been debating of adding SeaWorld to out trip. Mostly it's money,I realy don't want to spend another $260 on addmission plus food while we are there. BUT...my girls would LOVE it I am sure. I have one dd who LOVES, I mean LOVES penguins and they both love all kinds of sealife. When I showed them(they are 6) the website they were in awe of it. We could fit it in tword the end of our trip but don't realy NEED to fill any space that's for sure. This will be thier first trip to Disney and we are not sure when we will make it back to FL so is it realy worth it???

Definitely 100% worth it IMO, it is a an amazing park for anyone, and for those that adore sealife it's extra doubly special.

I think at 6 they're a great age for it as well, theres loads for kids that ages to do there, theres a top notch Childrens area of the park with rides and play areas, and the shows are breathtaking.

Its worth every penny. Like most theme parks food is a little high, but you can get hotdogs and burgers at a couple places. They won't jump all over yolu at the gate if you bring a soft side cooler with a few sandwiches and snacks either. No straws or glass allowed though,

We love Sea World. It's such a different experience than WDW. If you're not sure when your next Orlando trip will be then I'd try to fit it in. Safe and happy travels!

As the others have indicated...definately go to Sea World! It's a great park with wondeful shows and animal features. If your daughter likes penquins, here are a couple of shots I took going through the Penquin Encounter. She will absolutely LOVE it!

I'm looking for Crosby and Malkin in the picture, but cann't pick them out.:rotfl2:

Sea World is definately worth it and your 6 year olds will form life long memories by exploring Sea World. See the shows, pay a little fee and feed the rays and dolphins.

Living a short drive away and being able to go many, many times during the year, I forget my Florida passholder benefits....but in your case, yes, make your plans to go....you will never regret for going.....my favorite shows at SeaWorld are Blue Horizons (Dolphins) and Pets Ahoy (Mostly dogs and cats taken in from local shelters and given loving care and the best medical care and do an outstanding job in the show presented). Your family will have a wonderful time.....I guarantee it!

We bought a timeshare in 2005 and so try to go to Orlando on the 'odd' years, but we have not gone to SeaWorld the last 2 visits (we love Disney!!). ;)

Well, let me tell you, my girls are not going to let us get away without a visit to SeaWorld. After seeing the commercials for it a few months ago, they made me promise to take them this trip. Thanks for the info, makes me feel better about spending the money on tix.

My question, though, do you think it is worth it to go to Aquatica? Thanks for any feedback.

My son is a guard at one of the Disney parks. His best friend is a guard at Acquatica and has given him one of her comp tickets for SW parks for the year. He is there again today. They ( afew Disney guards) went last week too. He went in thinking it would be just so so. It is different than the waterparks at Disney. He wouldn't wait in long lines for some of the slides, but he thought the river was awesome. Last week they started out the day at Acquatica-bought the all day food ticket and sang praises on that. They stayed at Acquatica till mid day and then went over to SW. They went back to Acquatica to eat supper and stayed at the park till closing and then returned to SW. They had a blast! Said the food was awesome, too.
If you can swing it get the 2 day ticket. Seems worth it.
