should we go to mnsshp?

with the dates now posted my question is should we go. We would be there for the first party on the 1st. This will be our last day at disney and you guys have said Friday is the busy one. I don't want to go if it will be packed but it sounds like fun. Please help!

We went last year & really enjoyed it. I think it's definitely worth doing...especially if you have kids. Although it's apparently more crowded on Friday nights, just being in the MK late at night at that time of year is so great. I say go for it.

We went on a busy weekend 2 years ago, in fact it was sold out, and yes it was crowded!

The lines for rides are not that bad and to be honest we didn't do that many rides. We did check out the shows, parade and fireworks, which are different than the typical ones.

Definitely go! We went the night before Halloween last year and it was sold out. Even at that, it was not crowded at all. Went on Splash Mountain 3 times in a row! It was so much fun, and I am driving my DH crazy wanting to go back. What a great way to end your trip.

Thanks to those who answered. How many people do they let in? Usually this time of year isn't crowded so on our last night I don't want every one to end on a bad note(I may never get them to come back)

I think your trip will end on a VERY HIGH note if this is the last thing you do at WDW.

I don't think the party on Oct.1st will be as crowded as some later in the month on a Friday night.Fall Breaks don't start until mid Oct. and I don't think people are really into the "Halloween Spirit" then which is a good thing!

Disney is very tight lipped on the amount of people let in to anything but believe me,this year will be our 10th MNSSHP, the crowds at MNSSHP are way down from a ordinary day at MK.We've gotten to stay on Splash Mt and ride it 3 times in a row without exiting the log because the crowd has been so light!

I think y'all will have a blast!!!

I have to agree with Baloo. The first party will probably not be that crowded. Also, the crowds will be much lighter since the party is limited to a certain (although we don't know how many) number of people.

We went on the Friday before Halloween last year too, and I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised.

Just get there early, have a plan and enjoy as many of the "special" things as you can - ie: the parade, headless horseman, etc...

I don't think you will feel too crowded. We went on a sold out night and it was not that crowded to us. Just get there when or before it opens and here's a tip--go ahead to the back of the park and nobody will be back there yet. We rode Splash Mountain over and over again cuz nobody was there. It was an awesome party.

Would you opt for MNSSHP over a "normal" morning at the MK? What I mean is...if you had a choice of doing 3 MK mornings + 1 MNSSHP, or 2 MK mornings + 2 MNSSHPs, which would you do? (with a 3 year old)
