I was just looking at this on Deb's website.

What is it really, just fake houses? Is it worth it to go over there. I am sure he would NOT go on that rollercoaster. Other than that is there anything to do?

Mikey's Toon Town is delightful for young children. It's low keyed and often has lots of characters around. The meet and greet has different characters and the houses themselves are so cute. I could not image skipping it with a child. Remember there is NOTHING fake at WDW. It's all WDW magic!!!

The little roller coaster is an easy first coaster and most kids that age find it a thrill and a delight. He might surprise you!

Absolutely go!! My DD 4 loved Mickey's Toontown. Minnie's house is great, her kitchen has lots of things to push and explore. Donald's boat is a great sprinkler playplace and your son can meet the characters in the fair tent. Mickey's house is fun to see as well. There's lots for kids to look at. My 2 y/o DS loved Goofy's barnstormer. It was perfect for the preschool set!!

Definitely go! My kids love it there, especially Minnie's House (where you can open the ref., microwave etc.) and Goofys' Rollercoaster. ALso you can see the characters in Toontown, and if you go early the line is really manageable.

Definitely go! Mickey and Minnie's house is one of the things that really stuck in my kids' minds! They now know where Mickey lives! Besides that there is a place where kids can let off some steam, much needed at 4! Character meet and greets are awesome there!

Donald's Boat is a lot of fun for that age. They also have a small playground for the kids to play on accross from the boat.
Also if you like to meet 3 or more characters at one time and have them almost all to yourself....the Hall of fame building has characters in different rooms that you stand in line for and then when it is your turn you go into the room with maybe another family and have them all to yourselves for pictures and autographs.

DD7 still wants to go there almost immediately upon arrival...Thunder Mountain Railroad...then ToonTown for a face paint and a half dozen spins on the Barnstormer!!

My DS4 loves toon town. Goofy's Barnstormer is barely a rollercoaster and is one of my DS4's favorite rides. He loves to look through the houses. Face painting is a great treat. You can meet all sorts of character (it's where some of our best photos came from--including some family pictures with MIckey, Goofy, Donals, & Pluto). Donald's boat was also a great distraction for all when the heat of the day kicked in; not too crowded & gave the kids a break and much needed boost while DH and I had a chance to just sit and relax while we watched them. I would go, if it isn't working out, you can always leave--it's not like a whole different park, just an area. Catch the train and move onto a different area.

Loads and loads of fun for kids that age. My DD6 and DS4, that was there most favorite spot. When they dropped the rope when it opens (i think it was 9 am) everybody ran to get to the stuff, but there were my kids following Pooh into the tent for autographs. They talk about to this day still. A lot of play and running and things to do in this area.
