I was wondering whether or not I should take my 3 1/2-year-old. She's quite mature for her age, and loves the whole frilly princess thing, but she does pageants and is really used to me getting her all dressed up and winning big crowns. She has an excellent memory, and can still remember our disney trip last february in good detail, so I know that's no issue. I really hate to say it, but I just don't know if it would be special for her. She loves the experience of getting gussyed up and getting sashes and crowns, so should I still take her anyway or not bother? I plan on buying her a princess dress, so should I go ahead and should I make big deal of it?

Also, I noticed in pictures that they use a hairpiece. Is that only for certain styles, because my dd has pretty long hair. Would they try to do it with her own hair or how does it work (it's fine if they still do use one)?

Thanks for the help!

I took my 3.5 yr old dd a couple years ago and she had a wonderful time. She wore her own dress. Unlike your DD this was her first experience with a beauty shop but she did great. It is very girly and much different then just getting your hair done at a salon.

My Dd had long hair and chose the fairytale princess, it's pretty traditional. They pulled her hair up in a bun and she got a tiara. There were no hairpieces with this style.

We are going back in a just a couple weeks and will go to the BBB location in the castle this time!!! :cheer2:

I would definitley take her. She would love it despite her pagentry winnings and what not. Disney always comes through! Let us know what you decide!

I guess I'll try to take her. I wish it was open during the PPP, I think it would be fun to go then. We had alot of fun going to the Halloween party in 05 so I think we'll at least try to go to that. She wants an Aurora costume (she'd wear it to the PPP) so I thought it would be cute for her to go then, I guess we'd just have to go MK a little early. There may not be the same magic that the other little girls get, that they're actually being transformed into princesses, but I bet she'd still love it. I didn't realize how beautiful it was in the castle!
