Should we get roll away for son?

Don't the hotels have either 2 full beds or 1 king? If so, the full is way small for me and DH so we'd want a King but would a rollaway be okay for our 8 year old son? We're thinking of POFQ. TIA!

The values and I am pretty sure the moderates do have full beds. The deluxe have queen and it is worth it to us to get a deluxe for this reason alone! We had gotten a roll-a way for our DS a few places but not at WDW resort. We have never gotten one that was comfortable and he aways ended up in the king with us! You could consider geting a king and if driving taking a good quality air bed along for your son.

You might want to consider POR. Some rooms in the Alligator Bayou section has 2 double beds and a trundle bed. This is the only place in the moderate resorts where you'd get the extra bed.

We went to Linens N Things and bought the All-Nighter Aero bed for $48 ($60 minus 20% off coupon) which is a thinner Aero bed (8 inches I think vs. 10 plus) which is meant for college kids etc. It is in the back to school section in the store. Bed Bath and Beyond also sells it and both stores sell it online. It is awesome and so small and light-weight, but SO comfy. My DD can't wait to use it at Disney when we all go in Nov/Dec.

The moderates do indeed have full size beds.

Dh and I were extremely uncomfortable in ours. DD's (10 and 7) were in the other bed. They are both kickers and we can't sleep with them either, so we resorted to asking for a cot in our room, which I slept on for an entire week.

i have vetoed doing that again, so I think this spring it will be a deluxe for us.

Isn't a double the same as full? In this case, it still wouldn't work because me and DH must have Queen or King. My son has slept on roll away before and never said anything about it being uncomfortable, he's always thrilled just to stay in a hotel! LOL!

In any case we still have about 10 month to go so who knows what will happen. :sunny:

You're right--a double is the same as a full.

Some of the moderates and values come with 1 king bed. I hope you find the resort that is right for you!

I don't believe Disney will let you book more than 2 people in a King-bedded room, so you'd be stuck with the 2 fulls at a moderate. When we're in this situation, my DH & I each just take our own bed, and our 2 DS's 6 & 9 bunk down on the floor in sleeping bags. It's like camping out for them, and they have fun with it. We do this even if there are 2 queens - when you're used to a king, nothing else will do!
