Should we drive to MNSSHP or take Disney transportation?

We will have a rental car so I'm not sure which would be best. Drive ourselves (just 2 adults) or take Disney transportation? We plan to arrive around 4 and stay till the very end. We are attending the Sept. 9th party. Thanks!

Opinions are always split on "Drive vs. Bus."

If a thread goes on long enough you'll find its nearly a toss-up.
Which resort can factor in, too.

I'll vote Bus, especially since this is an MK event and getting to/from the MK gates
if you are parking a car takes quite a bit of extra time getting across the lake via monorail or ferry.
(The monorail may or may not be running at the end of the party, so that can be a factor against driving, right there.)

Currently booked at All Star Sports, but considering upgrading to CBR or AKV.

I also vote bus because you might be too tired to drive at midnight.

I vote for Disney bus, too. Not only for MNSSHP, but any time you are going to MK. Even if you have to wait for more than one bus, it's faster than the line for the ferry across the lake, then the line for the trams, then the walk to your car in the lot, and so on. Pretty sure Monorail won't be operating at Park Close. I could be wrong.

We stay off site. Last time we went to MNSSHP it was a nightmare getting back to the parking lot. It was right around the time they drastically cut the monorail service though( 2011 I think). I vote bus.
