Should we do Sea World

We will be in Anaheim for 6 days, and will be doing Disneyland for 3 or 4 days and want to shop for 1 day at least, we are thinking about going to sea world for a day, but not too sure if we should! Please help! Thanks!

When are you going? It has a new coaster opening on May 26th if that makes a difference.

If you never have been to a Sea World park or similar place it is a novel experience.

We are going April 14-21, so the coaster isn't a deciding factor! My kids have never been to any aquarium thing before.

SeaWorld is kind of cool. It is about an hour and a half drive from Anaheim. Depending on how old your children are, you might want to look at the aquarium in Long Beach. It is closer, and will take less time to go through. SeaWorld is an all day park, with a bunch of shows and not too many aquariums.

We do SeaWorld about every other trip to SoCal. My kids all love it ages 13 to 27! We usually take a tour from Anaheim so I don't have to drive and it is an all day event. There are good Grayline specials for transport/entrance. If you have the time and the finances it is a great day!

My kids are 4 and 7. I was looking at the grey line tour one, we aren't renting a car so that is pretty much my only option! Can we do all of sea world in the amount of time they give you?

We see most of it, dont do the rides, see most of the shows. Sometimes we have to choose out of the shows, but we like them. There is a really cute domestic animal show, a dolphin show, the Shamu show that is so impressive and maybe others depending on the schedule. We go as slow as we want when we're really interested in something then cruise along other attractions if noone wants to spend time. Also, we try not to spend too much time with a big sit down meal. There is also a great touch and see attraction . Lesson from the turtles tho: they look look they are going to move up to the viewing window-they are tricking you! You could spend all day thinking one more minute and here they come!!! You can take in a backpack with snacks.
