We are going on a 4 day cruise in Jan 2006. I just went out to DCL and they are offering a $25 state room credit for new bookings online. Should we cancel and rebook? We have 2 cabins for our family of 6. I called DCL to see if they would give us the credit anyway even though were aren't a new booking. They said no. CM I talked to said it might take a while to get deposit back and that we'd have a lot of money tied up for a while.

If you dont mind having the $ tied up with DCL for awhile, then do it. Then after your new cruise is booked and you have your stateroom credit, give Dana a call at 1-800-385-8233 and transfer the reservation to her and she'll save you even more and keep the stateroom credit too!

You will have to lay out your deposits again though.

StuartMI,
Do you need to call Dana to get a hold of her? I emailed her with a break down of what we are paying per person to see if she could beat DCL price and I never heard back from her.
