Should we call CRO about a price difference for our upcoming reservations?

Well, have you called yet??? I really would like to know the outcome.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the OP's father was going to call from his office today, despite the fact that an earlier poster had pointed out that the OP could have called before today.

Hey everybody - can we all just chill a little

Either stay on topic or do not post - and keep your opinions of other posters to yourself please.

Posting your opinion about the original topic is cool - but making judgements of other posters is so totally uncool.....

Who is really to decide what is silly and what is important....

What is important to you may very well be silly to me - but that does not give me the right to make fun of you or trash talk what you find important.

Was the total price the same? Sounds like the possibilites are:
1) The charge for an extra adult used to included in the total and is now separately shown
2) Disney made a mistake and didn't charge the extra fee during your prior stays
3) Disney used to waive the extra charge for CL guests and may not longer waive the charge.

At least some posters think the extra charge used to be just buried in the total and is now separately shown. If that's the case the total cost for your stay should show the same bottom line number. Guests who book a package; room, tickets and dining aren't shown the price of the individual components just a total.

Despite some of the kidding in this thread many of us are interested in knowing if Disney is now itemizing the charges that were previouly "bundled" or if Disney is starting to charge for items that used to free, possibly an extra adult in CL stays.

My Dad tried calling a few times today but was always on hold for a while, so he is going to try again tomorrow.

I just called my Dad and this is what he found out after calling CRO. The rate that we got on our confirmations that were e-mailed and mailed to our house is the rate before the tax. The rates per night that is listed on the Disney World website when I look at our reservations online are the rates after the tax.

So the Cast Member from CRO told my Dad that we are paying the rates per night that is before the tax, so those would be the rates that were on our original confirmations. So we won't be paying the rates that are $25.00 more per night.

So sounds like it was quoting with and then without the tax?

Fantastic. Question resolved.
