Should we bring an iPod touch for Agent P?

My kids are really looking forward to doing Agent P missions for the first time. The problem is that I really don't want to give them my iPhone for them to do it with if there is another option since it is my camera.

I have an iPod touch that is a few years old. CouldI bring that and connect it to the wifi? It has Safari and all that. Or do they still give out devices that are good enough to do it on?

Idk about what devices they hand out but you could certainly bring the iTouch and connect to the wifi. Could also use it to check wait times, schedule extra fast passes, etc instead of using your phone's battery

We cancelled our trip last fall- but in October 2016 they said they still had a few devices and they did everything they could to encourage us to let DD use our phone instead of their devices and acted like they were not going to let us use one of their devices. The CM even told me it would not run the battery down at all! (Uh- not buying that) DH and I absolutely did not want to give her one of our phones because we did not want to take the risk of her dropping and breaking them and we did not want her to run the battery down. When I finally told DD in no uncertain terms she was not getting one of our phones and that if that was the only way to do it this trip then she was not doing it- they finally pulled a device out for her to use. So, I don't know if they have completely stopped providing devices to use, but it wouldn't surprise me.

If you have an ipod touch that will connect and can be used for that- I would bring it just in case. The Agent P missions are really fun. DD loves them!

Boo. I will be really sad if they don't provide devices anymore. We had fun with this on our last trip. But letting my 5 year old use my phone for any length of time is not high on my list of good ideas.
