Should we bother with FP during slow season?

Arggggh! I'm not a dense person but I'm having brain block on this...dang it.

HYDROGUY - help! Which ones will have FP available? (whether we need it or not will be seen at the parks)

FP - Soarin' / Screamin' / Indiana / Splash

NO FP working for: Space Mt. / Big Thunder / Autopia

What about: Roger Rabbit?

I have WDW planning down pretty good but figured Disneyland in off season would be a breeze. Now that it's getting closer, I feel the need to have a little bit of relevant info. under my belt.

Thanks!

Roger Rabbit dont matter. even if you fastpass it, it doesnt get connected with the rest of the system...

Yes, I did know about the networking, but is it even necessary to FP Roger Rabbit? We would only be going into Toontown (the boonies) just for this ride.

We would like to do this ride. Our first two trips after it opened it kept breaking down on us - major waiting in line and then announcing it was broken, but they didn't shut it down, just let us keep waiting in line and said it would be repaired soon, then it was another 20 minutes, etc. etc. etc. etc. When we finally did ride it broke down several times with us on it and then we even had to be taken off the cars and escorted out. I sure hope it is running better.

I have a schedule from late September last year. Roger Rabbit DID have fastpass operational, but we didn't use it. We visited ToonTown a few times (once was mid-afternoon) and the line wasn't bad at all.

If DB is correct, which I believe he is, then these rides will have FP on weekdays:

@DL
SM
IJA
Splash
RR
BLAB

@DCA
Soarin
CS

Also, after HM reopens as HMH in late Sept, it too will have FP.

Okay got it - thanks for the help!

I tried a search but couldn't find this next one: When do the FP machines start operating for CA Screamin' if the ride doesn't open until around 1pm?

FP will open the same time the ride does.

Regarding California Screaming timing...

Although California Screaming officially opens at 1, it seems to be open earlier than that on some days. Last Monday we were there and it was open a little after 11:00am (definitely before noon).

I only have this one "data point" - any others with similar experience?

-Bret

well, they usually start testing the ride at 11:00 and opening it to guest at 12:00... thats the most common i have seen so far...

But, Weekends they open in the morning since the workers dont work Sat-Sun...
