Should we add a second MNSSHP

Hello!

Need some thoughts on this...we have tickets for the MNSSHP on Tuesday 9/11 but are considering adding another party on Friday 9/14. We are planning to hang out with friends from home that happen to be at Disney the same week as we are! It's been two years since we attended a halloween party. I am wondering since there have been more things added to the parties (themed rides, characters, etc) if we will have enough time to see the show, parade and do all the other things we want to do. For those of you that have been this year, are you finding that you can get most everything you want to do done during the party or feel like you missed out on a lot.

I'd check out the DIS's youtube channel for their commentary on the party. Just don't listen to Craig.

We did two parties last year and again this year. Is it necessary? Probably not, but it's a nice luxury. You can slow the pace down a bit and cover more ground. We tend to focus on ToT and rides one night and shows/characters on the other. It also allows you to leave a bit early if you want and not feel like you'll miss a ton (my son is 10 and we only made it to end of fireworks for one of them, but to the end for the 2nd one). It's also a nice safety net in case you get rain. We had no headless horseman for our first parade, but caught him on the 2nd night. I say if it's in the budget, then go for it. You definitely won't run out of things to see or do.

I have done 2 parties in the past and really enjoyed it. We were able to focus on characters/rides/parade one night and then treats/rides/parade the next.

I'd rather do one party and add another MK day, especially if it's cheaper

Hanging out with friends is priceless! I'd go for it, if the price is not a factor.
