Should we add a day?

We booked a trip for the end of August, primarily to go to Universal for the first time, and decided to also add three days for WDW to ride the new stuff that was added since we visited (5 years ago!) as well as a few favorites or things we missed (World Showcase). So RoR at HS is pretty important and the stories are making me nervous about getting a boarding pass. Our current plans are to fly in Wednesday and have Thur/Fri/Sat. But crowd calendars have upped the crowd predictions, and I'm especially worried about the Saturday. Plus getting the RoR pass with only one park day at HS.

So my question is - how hard is it to add a day (fly in Tues & add Wed) for parks, both tickets and hotel, if I already bought 3 days + nights at a popular discount site? Does anyone have experience with this, either through the discount site or Disney? Would I get a 4th day discount, or essentially buy from scratch?

1. End of Aug... pretty easy.
2. You can upgrade the ticket and pay just the price difference to a 4-day ticket.
It doesn't matter if you paid a discount price for the 3-day ticket.
To upgrade:
Subtract the Disney on-line price of the ticket that you HAVE from the Disney on-line price of the ticket that you WANT.
Pay the difference.

I would add a day just to be safe, but about the boarding pass...you are going in late Aug which I don't think is too busy. We went about 10 days ago and were able to get a boarding pass for 7 people on both of our days by trying at 1pm. Just have the page ready to click on at exactly 1pm and you should be OK if you don't get the 7am drop.

I have traveled to Disney for many years now, and the answer to the question, "Should we add a day?", is always "Yes".
