Should WDW include Robin Hood characters at the UK pavilion? With Disney planning on making a live action (based on the 1970’s cartoon) movie, do you think those characters should be available for a meet and greet permanently? I wish Disney would introduce Gwen (R.H.’s daughter according to Disney) as a meet and greet character as well. Thoughts? 🤔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏹🌳

I would say that Robin Hood characters are a better fit for the UK than the Frozen characters are for Norway, since the story actually takes place in the UK. While I preferred the WS not have any IP tie-ins, having a Ratatouille ride in France is an appropriate one (although I might draw the line at meeting a huge rat . . .). Robin Hood characters are just as relevant as having the Alice characters meet there.

They could put talking actors dressed in traditional Robin Hood/Maid Marian costumes. They have a yearly Renaissance Fair in Florida that they could correspond with to get accurate time period correct costumes. Disney technically owns Gwen, so they could have the whole Robin Hood family together in Epcot.

I would LOVE to see the Robin Hood characters in Epcot! Unfortunately Disney only seems interested in adding characters from their newer IP. I'm kind of shocked they haven't tried doing a live action of this one yet. I'm sure they'll get to it and I can ignore it just like all the other bad live action remakes. This is one of my favorite Disney movies.

We found Friar Tuck way back in 2004 coming off the character bus in Epcot:

We found Prince John at Disneyland in 2013:

Finally caught Robin Hood himself during Lost Long Friends week at the MK in 2019:

It’s been announced that they are making a live action version with the animals (like the Lion King/Jungle Book).

Well there you go. Of course they are. I won’t be watching.
Other than a few clips of the songs in the live-action Beauty and the Beast I've never seen any of them. I really love Jerry Orbach and Angela Landsbury and line drawn animation so that edition is the real BatB to me. I guess I'm just old-fashioned at heart.

Disney’s 2015 Cinderella was very good. I wish Lily James made a sequel to be honest.
