Should MNSSHP be first ever trip to MK?

Hey all, we're going to WDW in October for our honeymoon. My soon to be wife has never been, and with the way I'm planning things, we won't get to MK for a day until a Monday, but the previous Sunday evenining is MNSSHP.

I want her to have a good first impression of MK, so should I do MNSSHP before or after our day trip to MK? Is MNSSHP a good first trip for a newbie?

I think the Halloween Party would be an awsume first impression. I loved that party and there is something magical about the MK at night anyway even on a regular night. You just can't beat the magic of the castle all lit up at night.

We did the same thing as you for our first visit to MK with our children in 2002 (it was their first visit...ever!): we went to the MK on a MNSSHP night. I LOVE the MK during MNSSHP! It was an awesome first visit with the lighting and music and dressing up and parade and the fireworks. Then, when we went to the MK during the day later in the week...it felt like a brand new park! Things look very different at nighttime there when it is your first visit.

I think you should definitely go to MNSSHP for your sweetie's first visit to MK.....it will be wonderful .
