Should I wait for discount or just book POFQ now?

planning to go mid December, would love a room only discount. Want to stay at POFQ and don't know if I should book now or wait for discount that may or may not come especially with FQ being so small. Any and all advice appreciated.

If you know your dates and really want to stay at POFQ, then I would book now. We have done this twice in the last few years. When the room only discounts came out one year, FQ was not included and the difference to stay at POP was so large, that we switched to POP. Last year, we were able to get a good discount at FQ. It is a very small resort and rooms go quickly.

Just thought I would update and thank those who responded for their good advice. I went ahead and booked POFQ and will now just keep watch for when room only discounts come out and then decide if I want to keep this reservation or cancel and make another. I figure as we have been really happy staying at POR the last 3 trips if either of the two (Riverside or FQ) have a good discount I may switch but if not I am happy with getting to try out FQ.
