Should I try for CRT during fireworks?

During my current obsessive Disney reading/planning for our trip in Feb, I read a tip to book a later dinner at CRT and request a table by a window for a different view of the fireworks.
This intrigued me, but I'm wondering how likely it is that we would get a window table. We'll see Wishes other times on the trip so I'm not as concerned about the fact that we wouldn't be able to see the whole thing. The concern is more whether we could expect to have a view at all .

There is no guarantee you will get a window and since the information is out there for free (or cost if you buy the books) many other people will know that it is a "unique" offering. You can request when you get there but I have heard the requests don't mean much any more as they will still just sit you at the next available table because there is no way to tell if the window tables will open up.

I think CRT is a fun place to see Wishes if you've already seen it from outside the castle and are looking for something different. You'll only be able to see some of the fireworks and none of the effects on or near the castle. They do dim the lights and pipe in the music. As the PP said, you can request a table with a view, but there is no guarantee you'll get one and they don't really encourage guests to get up to find a spot to see the show. The window tables have the best view, but you can see the show from some of the other tables (you need to be able to see out of the right-side set of windows). That being said, I did enjoy seeing the fireworks through the stained glass windows.

As long as you are fully prepared to enjoy your meal without a view as I'm sure many others will request the same .... the number of tables with a real view are not many. I would google some photos/videos to see. NOTE: Older ones show low fireworks very visible but these are now gone that New Fantasyland has been built in those areas.

If you haven't eaten there most the tables are not by the windows and many are "side rooms".

Do you mean from inside the castle? IF that is the case then it is a hard no as Celebrate the magic is projected on the outside of the castle.

I HIGHLY recommend it if you have kids going. It was one of the highlights of our trip in Jan. I didn't tell the kids about the fireworks. When the first fireworks went off and the music was playing it was magical. The look on my girls faces was priceless!! It was amazing and we didn't have seats by the windows (In the picture above we sat at the table on the left bottom corner). My husband asked if I planned it that way...... well of course I did!!!! I think it will be a must do when we go again, even though it's an expensive splurge! LOVED IT!!!
