Should I trust Poly concierge with PS?

We are vacationing with another family for a week at the end of July and are staying at the Poly - concierge level. Due to number of kids (we have 5, they have 4), we each have two connecting rooms booked. With the money we're spending, I would love to use the ps booking service offered, however I'm worried that something will slip through the cracks.

Our family and the other family each has one little girl, so the other mom and I want to take the girls to the CRT breakfast. Do you think it's safe to let this reservation be handled by the concierge people? It would be heaven not to have to get up at the crack of dawn and stress myself out trying to get this reservation as soon as the phone lines open. I tried to get the Illuminations cruise everyday for a week 90 days before our last trip and came up with nothing. Very frustrating!!

We've never stayed concierge level before. Does anyone have any advice?

I would feel comfortable letting the polynesian handle most of the priority seating reservations. They did an excellent job with our itinerary. However I would still call to make arrangements for the CRT breakfast. It fills up so fast. If you don't have any luck in securing the reservation before you go, you can try through the concierge when you check in at the poly. That happened to us and they were able to get us a seating during our stay.

A tip for the concierge lounge, is if you don't see an offering that you want, ask for it. They usually have bottled water out of sight, ask for it. We always picked some up before we headed to the park and put it in our back pack. Saved alot of money that way. The cereals they put out for breakfast are in individual containers and are great for snacking on while waiting in line for rides.

We have stayed at Poly concierge the last few years. One visit I had them do my PS. They missed onr dinner, but called quickly and got us in.
Just check the list when you check-in to see if all your PS are on it.
If you plan on going to CRT I would have them do that one.

I prefer to do my planning .

They send you a complete itinerary with all the PS numbers / dates / times / places... you just need to check it over and make any corrections

Let them do it! it's is part of what you are paying for.

The Poly planners are wonderful! Let them handle it. Tell them now what you want (Espcially CRT). A few days before the 90 day window opens up, send them a reminder to send you notification of the Ressie Number. They can work wonders!

I would trust them with your PS, even if they don't get you CRT right away, they will definitely get it for you before you arrive. We had the Poly staff make most of ours and we were definitely treated differently. We never waited, anywhere we went, except for when I had made my own reservations, and that was at O'Hana on a night when it was pouring and the luau was cancelled, so they were swamped.
They did a fantastic job for us, upon arrival they had pictures autographed for all the kids, they had a Cinderella dress waiting for my daughter and cake and balloons for our other daughter. They were helpful beyond compare, definitely trust them, but also follow up and get your itinerary from them to make sure they have everything correct.

We have stayed with the Polynesian Concierge the last two summers and I would have no concern at all about having them do it for you. On both trips we had a number of PS reservations we were hoping for and the managed to get us into everyone of them.

Thanks for the info. I know we're going to enjoy our trip. I'm going to check in with them 90 days before our first morning there just to double check the CRT thing!!
