Should I tell Alamo about delayed arrival?

My flight times keep changing, and now I'm arriving at MCO right at the time that I'd reserved to pick up the rental car at Alamo. Once I pick up my luggage, etc, it will be well past that time - do I need to let Alamo know so that they will hold my reservation? I do not want to be left in Orlando without a car!!

It's not a problem. If you put in your flight information they can check that. They hold the car for quite a few hours before they cancel the reservation. You can also call Alamo and have them change the time.

The only time I've ever run into a problem was when my pickup was after midnight on a day I'd reserved a pickup before midnight. That happened with Avis once...we were supposed to get in around 11 p.m. so I had reserved for that time via Priceline. Because we got in after 12 and it was technically a new day, the computer said no more cars were available at our rate! Since we were prepaid, it wasn't a problem other than the fact that the poor desk agent couldn't figure out how to get the computer to cooperate. Between her and a manager, they got it squared away.
