Should I Take The Kids?

Why on gods earth would you take kids to Disney?

OF COURSE. As stated WDW Way closer unless your tired of WDW then do a big trip like Disneyland, California adventures the. Maybe Universal or knots berry farms etc

I live up by Alaska and we take our 4 kids as much as we can to Disneyland! We started when the youngest was 17 months old, on our last visit he was 7! Even when its crowded we love being there! The atmosphere, the magic, the memories we make as a family are worth every mile and penny!

Yes and No.

Your kids would love it, mine sure do, but I would also love to do a Disneyland trip just Mrs McN and I.

Hey guys I am from Kentucky. It would be a long ways to DisneyLand. I am wondering if it's worth taking the kids that far?

I live in WA. I've gone to Orlando. With my kid. I thought it was worth it.

Our hierarchy of themeparks goes:

Universal Orlando
Disneyland/California Adventure
Universal Hollywood
WDW

:)

But all are fun.

Idk what part of KY you're in, but I live in Cincinnati/NKY area and we have gone several times with direct flight to LAX. It's not bad at all.

This year we're hitting San Diego area first, then driving to DLR.

I suppose it depends on the ages of the kids. 16 and under, definitely. Older than 18, ask them.

We fly out of CVG, so probably very close to you. For me the concern was the 3 hour time difference, versus no time difference and a slightly shorter travel time to WDW. We just got back from Disneyland with a 2 and 5 year old and it was fantastic! We stayed the first 2 nights of our trip at the beach, which worked out great with the time difference. The kids woke up at 4 am in cali the first day, which would have been bad at DL since the park didn't open until 9. I'm glad we worked in the beach days - by the time we got to disney everyone was sleeping on pacific time and able to stay up late as well.

First post, hasn't returned.... We have a variety of ages (2-16, plus adults.) They will all be going when we head to WDW this coming Dec. They all travel to Disneyland (6 hour drive.) Let us know what you think.
