Should I switch to a two bedroom?

We are traveling during the first week of July. We will be a party of five with two eleven year olds and a six year old. The other 11 year old is my daughter's friend. I have no idea if there is any availability but I am really thinking about getting a transfer of points and upgrading to a two bedroom for the extra space and bathroom. It just seems that five people and one bathroom may be a little tough. Any thoughts....it would be 96 more points for the week!

If you can get it I definitely would. If the bathroom is the only issue, BLT and Kidani at AKV have two bathrooms in the one bedrooms.

Yes, I would if you could. Just having the space for the two girls might be nice.

We have stayed in the 2BR with 2A & 4 kids (12, 9, 7, 2) and really found the extra space to be worth it. Really liked the older kids having their own room to keep all their "stuff" instead of having it exploding all over the living room. If you can get the points & money is not an issue (96 points seems to run about $960) I would take the space for the week.

We are a family of four, and we *strongly* prefer a 2BR over a 1BR. The extra bath is nice, but the space for night owls/early birds to be awake without disturbing those who are still sleeping is even better.

I would check availability first unless you are ok with OKW or SSR. The resorts seem to fill up faster with more members.
