Should I switch my reservations?

I'm currently booked 9 nights at the VWL for the 2 bedroom.

I can do a split stay for slightly less.

I would get the 2 bedroom villa at boardwalk for 5 nights, then 4 nights at the AKL 2 bedroom standard view at kadani village.

Which would you choose?

You didn't tell us your dates, but since construction at WL will be going on through 2017, I would switch. The construction is major.

It's this September. The construction is making me nervous. I have always wanted to stay at the WL but im nervous it's going to be less magical.

Pros of vwl would be not moving hotels and the boat ride to MK.

Both BWV and AK look nice but the buses that I would have to take for AKL may drive me crazy. We will have our 1 year old with us, so having to fold up the stroller could be a pain.

View isn't bookable as a category at VWL, so the odds on being on a "construction side" vs. "bus side" definitely exist.

Correcr. I have no idea where the 2 bedroom via at VWL would be. For all I know it could look out at one of the scaffolds (sp?)

I would switch to the split stay at BW and AKL! Construction is not my friend on vacation, so WL would be out for me!

I don't know how much of a savings you are looking at but I was at VWL in January and the construction didn't phase me at all. I was even gifted a little set of trading pins that were construction themed with a pardon our pixie dust apology. But with that being said, if you spend a lot of time at Epcot then BW would be fabulous!! Too bad you couldn't do a split between Boardwalk and VWL so that you could have the MK and Epcot proximity. AKL is amazing though and the resort theming is wonderful. Tough choice but I think I would do the BW/AKL split!

I think the problem with these kind of anecdotes is that construction disruption can vary on a day-to-day basis. When a restaurant was being built downstairs from my office, some days were really calm. Then, there were the days they were knocking a hole in the floor to build a staircase...

I was just passing on MY particular experience.

I would switch in a heart beat. I loved staying at Kidani and BW.

I would switch given the crazy construction at WL. Save WL for another trip post-construction. We loved it there last year.
