I booked CBR from Sept 30-Oct 8 (using the e-mail code) and I think I'm having RAD (Resort Anxiety Disorder) (Just want to mention I love that accrynom). I was thinking about spending the last 3 or 4 nights at the AKL with a standrad pool view, but I can't decide. I would be doing this as a suprise for my mother and would tell her once we got to Disney. The voice inside me says go for it, but I'm just not sure. I have eaten at Boma before, but other than that I have not looked around the hotel I saw some pics on all ears and started to look at the FAQ thread here, but I still had a few quesetions... Will I be able to have my luggage moved there or will I have to find some way to do it? It is just me (23) and my mother (54) I have never stayed at a deluxe and my mother has never stayed on property period is it worth the money? Also how is the bus service?

I would hop in a second (big surprise, look at my sig). Disney will move your luggage for you, you just have to call Bell Services the day before. As for if it's worth it, that depends on what you are looking for. To me it is - it just isn't the same off site. Many disagree, but to me there is a definate feel to being on site that is hard to put into words. Just my thoughts.

You won't be disappointed with AKL. It's worth the $$$$. My only problem with switching hotels is that once I get there I hate to waste time packing up and switching during my stay. Disney does make it easy for you (moving and storing your luggage) but I hate the mid trip packing.

Go for it! It is the most relaxing resort that I have ever stayed in at WDW. Moving is a breeze with bell services. Your mother will love AKL.

Thanks for the replies I'm goning to do it! Now hopefully, they still have pool view rooms available! Now all I have to decide is 3 or 4 nights! hmmmmmm

Yep, you have RAD, but you knew that! :) At least you saw the symptoms and knew they weren't fatal, but can actually add to your trip enjoyment! Go for AKL! Go for more days! You'll love it, and it is truly a relaxing resort with so much to do we still haven't done it all!

Happy planning,
Debbie

Okay I've been convinced 4 days it is :D Thanks for all of the support!

For 2 adults it will be a piece of cake to resort hop! I've done it with 4 kids, and that's a bit harder, but still worth it and fun to experience different resorts. Have a great time--I can only hope that my daughter would surprise me with something so special!
