We have Thursday doing TL and Epcot and stay for epcot EMH... with a water park and transportation time I figured we probably won't be at Epcot until 4. Do you think we should try to do all the WS and FW that day from 4-midnight. The thing is certain things are open for EMH and some aren't - I wouldn't know whether we should do WS first at 4PM then after Illuminations do EMH but from what I read Illuminations starts at 9 and lasts about 20 minutes? Then everyone will go to the EMH attractions at the same time so that probably will take a another 15 minutes or so.. Or should we do a little FW (soarin, etc) then WS then back to the EMH stuff which is mainly FW anyhow?

Or just concentrate on FW on Thursday then go back on Saturday for WS? Saturday plan was the same -water park then park in the evening, but if we did'nt finish up MGM we need room for that as well ? I guess could do Sun morning.

FW will close at 10pm on that night, so you wouldn't have any time at all to do anything after Illuminations. I would say you need two days. You can do all of WS that night though. I would do FW first, then do WS until it closes at midnight.

You definitely need 2 days at Epcot. There is no way you can do it all in just a few hours. There is a reason my family and I joke that EPCOT stands for -Every Person Comes Out Tired. That's not a slam, it's my favorite park, so I know it can't all be done in a few hours. I've been a lot and I still need 2 days.

I agree you really need two days. There is a lot of ground to cover. :earsboy:

Definitely do two days - when we were there in March I put our DD3 to bed and went all the way back to Epcot, arriving after the fireworks, for EMH (with DH in the room w/DD) - all I wanted to do was walk the WS and you CAN'T - they only keep the Mexico/Norway side open because those are the EMH rides. They literally close the gate after China (there's a drawbridge they take the fireworks barge out through - pretty cool, actually), and the stores and stuff are closed. And it seemed to me that there wasn't that much open in FW either. I still enjoyed myself, it was a beautiful evening, but you're not going to cover much "ground" attraction-wise at Epcot in the late evening.

During EMH only a handfull of attractions are open. WS pavillions close at 9PM. MS, TT and some others are open until midnight. That is the consensus I have gotten.

OK, so even though FW closes at 7 normally and WS at 9, they keep FW open until midnight and WS closes at the normal time? That doesn't make sense really. I figured it was three extra hours at both.

I think it's only the specific listed attractions that are open during EMH. WS Pavilions close and so do other FW stuff like Livin' Seas.

::MickeyMo Even though Future World is always stated as closing at 7:00 pm each night, certain attractions there still stay open until 9:00 pm such as Test Track, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth and I would assume possibly Soaring. It is mainly the buildings that close early like the Land, Imagination, Wonders of Life, etc. So therefore, Extra Magic hours would be until midnight for Epcot. HTH :flower: Rebecca

We always do 2 full days at Epcot, because really like to take our time and see things.

What we do is left half one day, right half the other day. That way we get WS and FW each day, just different things.

We love to look at everything in each country and talk to the Cast Members there. My DD16 is the one who started this when she was only 7. She loves to talk to the people from other countries and ask them about their homelands.

This is a fabulous time to go to EPCOT. The Flower show will be there and they have lots going on. Butterfly gardens, amazing mazes and perfume gardens. Take a minute and read up on what the Flower Festival has to offer and don't forget to stop by Ice Station Cool and try Beverly!! Have fun :flower:
