Should I schedule my MSEP dinner on the same night as fireworks?

Fireworks will most likely only be showing Fri/Sat/Sun when we are there so our first day, Sunday, will probably be the only chance to see fireworks. I also want to schedule a MSEP dinner at Blue Bayou and I'm wondering if I should do that the same night as fireworks or if I should plan on Tues or Wed night for the MSEP dinner.

Does being in the MSEP Blue Bayou reserved area give you any advantage in seeing the fireworks?

What would you do? Both in one night or separate them? Thanks for your help!

We did the Aladdin's Oasis package for paint the night last summer and just stayed in our viewing area for the fireworks. It was much easier than trying to navigate the crowds twice. Our area was near It's a Small World and BB is near the Main Street train station. Casey at DLR Prep School has great info on all the dining packages. I see she recommends moving up Main Street after the parade if you're in the BB viewing area. I'll try linking the page for you. Hopefully I do it right!!

I haven't done it before, but for what it's worth, we've booked Aladdin's Oasis for meal/MSEP on a Sunday night in a few weeks and plan on staying put for fireworks...

That's what we did and it was a great spot! The only thing is that the projections were on It's a Small World instead of the castle. We didn't mind but some prefer to watch them on the castle.

The BB area doesn't really give you an advantage for the fireworks since you are in Town Square, facing the train station (away from the castle). After the parade is over, you will be allowed to move back up Main Street for better fireworks viewing. If fireworks viewing is a priority for you, then I would invest time finding a good spot on the Sunday night (being aware that the show could get cancelled due to weather or other reasons). You can then do the BB MSEP dinner another night and relax afterward since you won't have to worry about rushing up Main Street.
