Thanks again everyone for the kind words. I hear that when a woman has a baby, they don't remember the pain after a while, only the elation. I am getting to the point of not remembering how sucky it was.

That sounds like an extremely tough race given the conditions. Congrats Scott!

If you asked me two hours ago (about mile 8), I would have told you that I quit running forever. Now, I am only quitting anything over 10K.

I always say that too but get so excited by the next race! Actually in WDW, I was passed by some guy who had a little sign on the back of his shirt that said "Three months ago this seemed like a good idea." My foot was in so much pain, I thought that it was perfect. But after a month break from running, I'm ready to get back out there! Until the next race of course ...
