Should I rent or sell

My wife and I must cut back on our disney expenditures, and much to our chagrin we must either sell or ent our membership. Any opinions woiuld be greatly appreciated. We own 178 points at the AKV and have 25 pts from 2009, amd all 2010 through the end of our contract pts available. I am nopt advertising the sale of our membership here, just looking for suggestions on what you think we should do to minize or remove our costs of ownership.

I think it depends upon your individual situation. If your contract is not financed, and all you owe are annual dues, I'd rent until you are in a position to use the points yourselves. If you still owe a substantial amount that is financed, it is doubtful a rental would offset the entire amount of dues plus mortgage. If you are struggling in this lousy economy, I'd sell and get out from under the debt.
