Oh god why is it so expensive? I live in NJ. Flew to WDW last week from Newark it was $350 round trip. It is also usually cheaper to fly out of JFK. Have seen roundtrip flights at $190. JFK is a hassle thought but might be worth the savings !

Yep- using JetBlue fare finder, there are a ton of $79 flights in December , just not for the week we are traveling - and we are locked into those dates because of winter recess for the kiddos

Same as the PP- accesss to Jfk and Lga - question for my DISer pals - does anyone know if JetBlue ( or any of the other airlines servicing NYC change their fares on the weekend ? Desperately waiting for a fare drop with JetBlue - traveling dec 20-29

Don't usually do "spilt" airports, but thinking about booking the return for $204 into Lga in the meantime and hoping for a lower fare out of either JFK or LGA on 12/20 - thoughts ?

Wow. Little rough reply - Anyway - we just booked the hotel recently- we were not sure that we were going until last week, hence why the air wasn't booked yet

Original poster here , just wanted to say that I extended our stay till Monday and saved a ton in airfare. We are staying at our timeshare so it wasn't too expensive to add on a day and the airfare was so much less.
Flying JetBlue in and out of JFK.
