Should I pack these in my suitcase

Hi,

I've made myself some hidden mickey's, and bought some crystal pins for my bouquet, I was thinking of putting them into a padded envelope and putting a label on it, in my suitcase, I wouldn't chance them in my hand luggage they would look strange in the x ray machine.

Do you think this would be ok.

you never know until you try. they will probably question it and have to take it out and look at it. They did something like that do my perfume bottle that was shaped oddly and had to look at it. no worries

If they are packed well they will be okay in your suitcase. If you want to take them on your carry-on, you will probably get pulled aside while they look at them. I would go ahead and pack them in your checked luggage--the more we all put in our checked luggage, the less TSA has to look at pre-boarding--- and the quicker we all get through the lines. (Or "que" for our UK friends )

I travel a lot, and I can say that my motto is "simplify, simplify, simplify". TSA has gotten STRICT. No Starbucks, no water bottles, no lotion...no kidding. And the UK to the USA will have tighter scrutiny than domestic travel.

I had crystal Mickeys in my bouquet. I love them that much that I also asked the lady who made my tiara to make some larger crystal mickeys for my bunches of flowers around my home. She now sells them for about £3 each here on her web site:

Since you are coming from the UK, I would probably pack it in your checked bag. I have been hearing nightmares about carry on luggage from the UK.
