:confused3 I don't have an answer. I just wanted to say that is a really cute bathing suit. It is pretty cheap, why not buy both sizes and return which ever does not fit in 90 days (I believe that is Target's return policy).

I say yes, but one size smaller. I did that last year. If I wanted something I would buy it a little smaller and it was a great "goal".

I would try both on though and see how they fit. I know for me I can't buy the tops too much smaller or they won't fit in the bra area.

I agree with Melanie that you should buy the smaller one. It's amazing the determination to get in shape you can have when you have a visual like an outfit or a cute swimsuit. I needed to lose several pounds to fit into a beautiful suit I bought at a ridiculously cheap price (the suit was about $250 and I got it for under $50). I was determined to fit into comfortably this past July and I bought the suit in late April or early May. I worked out twice a day for weeks, was super careful of what I ate and I wore my suite proudly. I'm happy to say that this suit is now almost falling off me but that's another story. My long winded point is go for the smaller suit, what inspiration you will have working your way into it and how great you'll feel when you wear it proudly!

Actually if it's cheap. Why not buy more than one. Buy the next smaller size and maybe one in a size you hope to end up in (being realistic for you).

Purchase both sizes and save the receipt.

Target is notorious for stocking early and selling out what you need before you actually need it.

Purchase both sizes and in a couple of months return the one that is most likely not going to work out (I think it's a 90 day return).

I say by the one that is a smaller size down and that will be a great goal for you as long as you feel that it is realistic. Then like others have said by the other one as well and then you can take it back. I always have to buy my top and bottoms separate in different sizes even when I was in the size I wanted to be in because my top half is much smaller than my bottom half:)

Just do what you feel is best for you and then work from there. Don't let the suit get gone though because then you'll really feel disappointed.

I say its only $15 bucks per piece... so buy em both and return one later!

I voted to buy it in the size that currently fits. I found that I can still comfortably wear a swimsuit that I wore over 25 lbs ago. Depends on the fit. But as long as it will fit in the bra area, you should be fine. Usually bathing suit bottoms don't get way too big unless you've gone down at least 4 sizes -- at least for me anyway 'cause my bottom is waayyyy bigger than my top ;)

If you are truly able to return one within 90 days, then I say buy both. I know some stores never allow bathing suits to be returned, but since I don't live in the US, I don't know about Target's policies.

Hi Amanda!
I say buy both sizes - only because it is Target and sometimes their sizes aren't 'true' to size. I would hate for you to go down in size and not have your goal suit fit, so buy a bunch, just in case! It is definitely a 90 day return policy at Target.

BTW, REALLY cute suit!!!!

If you really love it, I say buy it in a smaller size and hold onto that receipt. However, keep in mind that when you lose weight you may find that a different style of suit ends up being more flattering on you. I'm about 20 pounds from goal but I still have no idea what my best swimsuit silhouette is going to be.
