Hi,

I'm planning my first trip to WDW in around 8 years and was hoping for some comments and advice, and I was hoping someone could tell me if I made any mistakes with my credits. We'll be on the DxDP for 7 nights and have a room only reservation for the day we land. So we have 21 credits for days 2-8 and will be paying OOP for our first day. We're pretty much planning on 2 meals a day, as we're not big fans of breakfast. We also will be renting a car so we don't have to wait for bus transportation, though we will be using that a bit. Here's what I've come up with so far...

Day 1 - Dec. 2 - arrival - staying at AKL, shopping at DTD
lunch - Earl of Sandwich
dinner - Boma

Day 2 - transfer to ASM (because it's 'chipper' and they have pillowtop beds) - MK
lunch - Whispering Canyon Cafe (1 credit)
dinner - O'hanas (1 credit)

Day 3 - Epcot
lunch - Tokyo Dining (1 credit)
dinner - Le Cellier (1 credit)

Day 4 - MGM (Hollywood Studios)
lunch - lunch with an imagineer at Brown Derby(oop)
dinner - Mama Melrose's - Fantasmic Dinner Package - (1 credit)

Day 5 - Resort & Park Hopping , Cirque du Soleil, Adventurer's Club
lunch - ESPN Club (for my fiance) (1 credit)
dinner - Planet Hollywood (because I HAVE to compare my Captain Crunch chicken to the one they have there, lol) (1 credit)

Day 6 - AK
lunch - Yak & Yeti (1 credit)
dinner - Jiko (2 credits)

Day 7 - Epcot
lunch - Teppan Edo (1 credit)
dinner - Coral Reef Cafe (1 credit)

Day 8 - Park Hop
lunch - 50's PTC (1 credit)
dinner - Hoop-Dee-Doo (2 credits)

Day 9 - departure/engagement pics
breakfast - Chef Mickey's
lunch - something fast, if we have time.

It looks to me like we're only using 15 credits out of 21. I really wanted to try California Grill and time it to the fireworks, but I can't figure out when to squeeze that in. I think I'd have to give up one of my Epcot restaurants.

Any changes you'd make? Did I get anything wrong? Thanks for helping!! :cheer2:

Keep your choices, you will enjoy.

When I first read your post I thought you were planning for 8 years from now!!

Sounds like some great meals. That's ashame you can't you use your credits for day one- Earl & Boma?
