Should I link my lost UC tickets

My tickets ordered from Undercover Tourist are lost in transit (rescanned every day for 5 days at a sorting facility). I see from previous posts on lost tickets that they will issue me the serial numbers for the tickets and I can link those tickets and then get them replaced at Guest Services. Will that affect my Magic Bands?
