Should I let my kids skip all things Anna and Elsa?

I think it all depends on what kind of vacationer you are.

My best friend is a ropedrop-til-close girl. The kids know that every second has been planned and they just follow along behind Mom and all have a lovely time, knowing they won't miss a single thing.
We however are very much in the 'happy kids, happy holiday' camp. One day in our last trip we went on Buzz 5 times in a row and missed our Peter Pan FP window, and another day they were having so much fun doing Agent P that we cancelled our ADR and DH missed out on Pirates of the Caribbean (his fave Disney ride for some bazaar reason!!)

Is it going to have a big impact on any of you if you skip Frozen? If yes, make sure you do it!

While they may "like" FEA they would probably like almost anything else a lot better.

Just sing "let it go" while you're waiting in lines to get back at them!

My only other thought is Epcot is really lacking in rides, (all kids are different but I know my 8 year old is always asking "what ride are we going on next"). Even with doing FEA she didn't feel there were many exciting rides there (we found living with the land, Ellen and Figment really boring tbh), so for that reason alone I may not skip it.

If you have no interest in it, skip it. There are a few things I really want to do that my boys balk at, but I remind them about compromise, and I do some things just for them.

We have never done anything A&E. In fact, we have skipped almost everything Princessy for all our trips. (I have boys.) Never done CRT, never waited to meet any Princess, never done 1900 dinner, never done Akershus, no A&E meet and greet. I doubt we will do FEA on our next trip bc TT and Soarin are far more important to my crew and the wait times are ridiculous. (My boys loved maelstrom)

Works well for us bc we avoid those crowds. More time for other attractions and at Rd we can head in the opposite direction of all the A&E stampedes. There is definitely enough other stuff to do. We do almost all the other attractions and get our character fill with GG every trip, sometimes CP, but we prefer WS restaurants and have always preferred rides to Meet and Greets.

My 5 year old loves Frozen, but even she would pick TT over FEA. I would suggest seeing the Frozen Sing Alonh show in DHS though...that is really funny and definitely worth the time.

In the past I was like your friend, but this next trip I am aiming to be more like you. No need to see everything. As long as the kids are happy, I will be happy.

I read your signature as you boys?? My sons are 10 and 7 and they would RIOT if I suggested we even walk that far out of the way to do anything frozen related. If there was no line MAYBE. Now if it was star wars, or jousting knights where someone actually got cut in half, that would be a whole different story. Unless YOU want to drag them because it is important to you, then enjoy doing something else.

Given the popularity of the ride right now and the long lines, if neither of your girls nor you are interested in the ride then I say skip it I don't think it would be worth it to get FP for the ride or to wait in that long long long loooooooong line (lol) if none of you are wanting to go on it. You guys do whatever makes you happy in disney world There is no right or wrong, you just do whatever you are interested in! If the ride were not so popular right now and the line was much shorter, I might recommend that you try it. But, not right now when it's so crazy popular still

The stage show is really good...surprisingly good. Otherwise, you're lucky you can spend your time doing other things at Epcot. FEA is pretty cute, but it's by no means a "must" for a non-Frozen fanatic.

You never know what their mood will be when you arrive. They may get the urge to go and meet every princess especially Anna and Elsa. However with EPCOT their really isnt a ton for kids your daughter ages to do. You can only pick one of the three listed on your fast passes. Test track, soarin and Frozen are the top teir fast passes so its one of the three only. So you have all the oppurtunity to go and try to do all three just will have to wait in line for them. Plus the Forzen ride is a ride and not a Meet and Greet.

Less to do and try and get FP+ for? Happy days! The worst vacation is trying to do too much. I did enjoy FEA even as adult but I also think it's important to pace yourself. Enjoy!

There is nothing that says you HAVE to do every attraction, that you HAVE to do the ride. The only thing that would be wrong would be to force them on something they don't want to go on simply because it's there. Personally, my family skips every single thing that has to do with Frozen.

I'm not so sure I would rule out anything to do with Frozen. I don't particularly love dinosaurs, yet really enjoy Dinosaur at AK. We aren't the biggest Star Wars fans, but enjoy the attraction at DHS. The Frozen Sing a Long at DHS is very much worth going to with teenagers, even those who don't necessarily love Frozen. The Historians who host the show are a riot, even at times poking fun at the movie which makes it all the funnier. I may not bother with dealing with the line at Epcot for Frozen Ever After if you don't care that much, though. It's awesome, but short. I would prioritize the Sing a Long as something to try.

So neither you nor your kids want to ride it and you are wondering if you should skip it?
I think that is a clear yes. Not sure why you would even consider wasting a FP on it of nobody in your party wants to ride it. It looks like you still have at least 10 months to decide though so no need to worry about it now.

I would suggest atleast doing the Frozen ride. It's a cool attraction! And it's your vacation, too

Skip it. Let them each choose something else they would rather do!

Edit: i was surprised my boys didn't want to do Jedi Training a second time, even though they loved it. They had done it and were over it and wanted to try some other rides
