Should I Go In August?

I can go to WDW on August 14-15, a Monday and Tuesday. I have a PDAP so tickets aren’t an issue. It looks like I can get a reasonable hotel rate. I usually do Epcot on Monday for EEHs and MK on Tuesday as it’s my favorite. Unfortunately for my last minute plans the 15th is a MVSHP and is sold out. Im not a fan of heat and usually go in the winter. I would be more interested in visiting MK in the evening after the sun has lost some intensity. Any chance of walk up MVSHP tickets? Is it just too hot to even try WDW in August? Any advice?

Once party tickets are sold out they are sold out. Except in extremely rare situations (approaching hurricane so guests cancelling trips) additional party tickets are not offered.

That being said, if you can handle the heat, party days are great days to visit the MK as the shortened hours deter many from booking.
