Hi,

This is nagging @ me! Do I/we want to go home (BCV) in 2004 or wait & bank the points & go in 2005? I guess I will have to see how HH is firt before we really decide what to do. I'm curious to know what you would do? Thanks

Allison

stay away from WDW for a whole year????? are you serious - I couldn't do it - believe me I have tried.....

You don't mention how many points and what scenarios you are kicking around. Trust me, I understand the feeling when the wheels start turning...before you know it, you have3-4 years planned in your head (we have not even made our first trip home yet!)

Good Luck with your planning! '05 sounds like a long time to wait, but if you get to stay longer or in larger accomodations, do what you think! Meanwhile, I'll be right there with you at 6:30AM (sometimes) plugging numbers and new ideas! Natt

Like natt said, we really don't understand what options you are looking at.

Would you stay twice as long if you went in 2005? and how long would that be?

Or would you upgrade accommodations from, for example, a studio to a 1BR?

Or would your children be a year older then and easier to handle/more likely to enjoy it?

Can't give an opinion without knowing what the alternatives are!

But it would have to be a pretty good reason to make me skip going to WDW for a year!

Granny & Natt & everyone,

I'd have to borrow all of the points from 2005 (210) & I have 99 points still in 2004 because I borrowed from 2004 already for HH in October! So either I wait & bank & go in 2005 home @ BCV in a studio & 4 days on the Wonder and bank what's left from that & go on the magic for 7 days in a higher cat the next year. Or I could burrow & do the same thing & probably stay in a one bedroom. I'd have to still skip a year 2005 before the magic cruise. It will just be the two of us for first few trips. I am not telling family right now because I'm afraid they'd take advantage. Does that help alittle. Sorry I didn't say before!! Thanks!

I would go in 2004. Like everyone else, there is no way I could stay away for that long. We already have trips planned for Jan 2004 and Dec 2004. I thought that was too long in between trips so we are also going in Sept 2004  We will only stay in a studio for the "extra" Sept trip, but it is worth it to go.

So if I were you I would go in 2004 and maybe you will decide to add on before your other cruise so you can go again :p

I am the same as Natt on this one...I haven't been yet but I already have many years in the future planned. My first trip will be next April, which I will have to borrow a few points for, because we want to extend the trip. Eventually, I know the borrowing may catch up with me. My feeling is that if I end up not being able to do what I want to do and when I want to do it, I will just add on (I'm already planning on this too).

Hi,

Thanks!!!! That's what I thought you'd say. We will just have to see how things go.
