Should I go for a GTY status?

I am currently booked in a Cat 5 on the FL / CA repositioning. I couldn't get a Cat 6 when I booked, but I think I could go to a Cat GTY now. That would save me $200. Is it worth the $200?

I would not want a Cat 6 on deck 5. And, I wouln't want a forward cabin, either. I like the aft location.

So, I'm thinking of keeping my cat 5 and assigned room rather than save $200 to go to gty.

What do you think?

I'd stay with what you have now. You know you will be happy with it.

Sandra, I agree with Wog, it sounds like you're pretty specific with what you want, so I'd keep what you've got, since you'd not be as happy if you ended up on deck 5 forward.

that's why we didn't go GTY - hubby is very particular about where he wants to be on the ship (NOT forward) which means if we went GTY we'd probably be exactly where he doesn't want to be
