should i get some meal vouchers?

wondeirng if i can get some input- family of 4, DH, Me, and 2 DD's ages 13 & 5.
we plan to eat at counter service at epcot ( lunch and dinner) caseys at MK and counter service at MGM.
resort food would be chef mickeys (?) and the fun and food center at CR.
would vouchers be worth it for those places? -

Epcot you can do well

We used Tangierine at Epcot, and did wonderfully. We used two vouchers and had lots left over (we are a family of four)

We also used it at Electric Umbrella, not as great of a value, but it still worked for us as well.

We also used them at the counter Mexican place. Worked great.

MK--

Used it at the place in Tomorrow land--Cosmic Rays. Did well there also.

The best advise that I could give you would be to check out the menus and prices at Allearsnet.com - Menus from Around the World . This will give you an idea of what a meal would cost at the places that you intend to eat. You can then factor in taxes and any possible tips to the total.

Remember that a Q&C voucher will cost you $11.50, whether you intend to use it to feed your DH or your 5yo. You may not want to buy vouchers to feed the younger DD. Simply ordering a child's meal at any of the counterservice restaurants would be less expensive than the voucher would be. You will also get a dessert with the vouchers. Would you normally purchase a dessert? Without the dessert, you would be hard-pressed to break even in the parks. You will do better at the Food & Fun Center.

Chef Mickey's is not open for lunch, so you would not be able to use VKLs there. They are not listed on the Q&C vouchers as a participating restaurant. If you plan to eat there for breakfast, they do accept the breakfast vouchers. The breakfast vouchers will cost you $18.25/$11.00 (adult/child). The actual cost of the meal is $16.99/$8.99. Including tax & 15% tip the cost becomes $20.64/$10.92. So for breakfast, you would save about $7 using the adult vouchers for 3 of you but you would only break even on the child's voucher.
