Hi,
when i booked my holiday last Jan for our first visit to WDW i bought about 6 guide books, were going in Feb and I was just wondering if you think its worth buying the new versions or should we just make do with the old ones?

Thanks
Love

I'd save the money.

With all due respect to the guidebook authors (yes, I own most of them) there have been soooooo many changes at WDW in the last month that I think a lot of their info is already outdated. If you have a guidebook that's only a year or two old, you can still use that for things like restaurant reviews, attraction reviews and hotel information. But with the new Extra Magic Hour configuration, ticketing options, package options, etc., a lot of the other information in those books is no longer valid.

The new books will start arriving in the Fall of '05, and I think those will be must-buys for any trips in '06.

tjkraz hit it on the nail, as usual. All bets are off as to planning with guides until the new systems have been experienced by expert and regular folk alike.

Save the money for a Dole WHip.
