Should I get an AP?

i am making two trips this year, one in Sept and one in Nov/Dec. the sept I was going to get a 6 day ticket and a 3 day for the other. Then am staying off site for the 6 day ticket so that 6 days of parking. It's seems like my bill is already close to what the AP costs and then I have photos included with the AP. Am I off track thinking this?

I think the general rule of thumb is that the break even mark is around the 2 week mark, but I don't think that takes into account the savings the AP gives you for parking and food/store discounts. If you are already near the break even mark, I would go for it. There is something special about being an AP. And it's great to be able to go in and out of the parks at your convenience without feeling like you are "wasting" a day because you aren't there from rope drop to closing. I found it make the vacation just more relaxing.

I feel like AP's should come with a warning on this Even out of state, with the discount airlines, OTA discount on rooms/travel rewards on CC...well lets just say I have way more days in the parks than I ever thought I would when I got the pass last august...(including a last minute trip in 8 days just to see F&G)

Yes. Definitely AP. Just don’t send me the bill for all of the trips you take between January and Sept of the following year
