About 3 weeks ago I made a ressie for our first trip home, which will be in Nov. 2003. CM gave me a confirmation # over the phone, but I have not received anything in writing through the mail.

Is this normal or should I be getting a written confirmation like you receive when you make a reservation through the regular WDW channels?

You should have received a written confirmation within a week to ten days after the reservation was made.

I'd call or email to ask that a duplicate be mailed. You may want to confirm that MS has your correct address.

Agree. 10 days is about the limit every time we've made reservations.
Sounds like something got lost in the shuffle--which is another good reason for having things in writing!!

WDW had trouble with their computers, and they have been down several times in the last couple of weeks--I guess all of us booking for Christmas kind of overloaded the system;) At any rate, all the written confirmations are late in arriving due to the crush of ressies. You should be hearng soon, but it took me just over two weeks to get my confirmation, so don't worry. You have the confirmation number and that's the most important thing.

They are lame with this, keep on top of it.

I have made many reservations, doing add on days at the 11 month window, etc. only to get incomplete paperwork or no paperwork. You should have it within 10 days or call them to get it.

I just got the confirmation today for a reservation that I made tten days ago.

I would definitely call and confirm your mailing address.
