should I fire my TA?

If you're concerned about the cancellation fee:

Is she working alone or is she one agent in an office? Our first AAA agent was not only uninformed, he was incorrect on a number of points. (Like telling me we needed to get 2 rooms at the Contemporary, since they only slept 4)

I emailed AAA to let them know that he was giving misinformation, and they changed my agent. No cancellation fee, no problem, just a very nice young man who has done everything I've asked him to do and gotten back to me promptly.

I didn't ask him to make our ADRs though, since I did want that 7 am call and they're not open then. Instead, my sister took care of it for me-- I'm a teacher and I leave for work at 7.

My cousin is a travel agent. Not all agents are "Disney Specialists." I had worked with her our first time traveling to Disney and didn't know any better. The next time we booked thru Small World (thru the Mousesavers site) and they were 100% more knowledgable. My cousin knows the basics of Disney but she has not been trained to know anything of much importance. She has no kids either so I don't know that she's even been there. Now I just do it all myself. If I have basic questions about airfare or getting a rental car I may call my cousin for advice but it's just easier to go it alone.
