Should I fax my room request

I made my reservations for AKL (savanna view) 4/23-4/30 through a travel agent.

I now want to fax my room requests (2nd floor, Zebra Trail). Can I do this myself or does my travel agent have to do it?

Well, technically no reservation can be changed, modified or cancelled by you if it was made by a TA.

Having said that, I see no reason why you shouldn't go ahead and fax your request to AKL. The worst thing that will happen is they'll throw it away and you can ask again when you check in. And you might even get lucky with the fax.
